Description

The LUXE Silk Pro 2.0 is an at-home IPL hair removal device that uses intense pulsed light to target hair at the root, delivering long-lasting reduction in hair growth. It works by directing light energy into the hair follicle, gradually reducing regrowth with each session until treated areas stay smooth for weeks at a time.

With 999,999 flashes and 5 intensity levels, a single device gives you years of treatments across legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, and facial areas. Choose between Auto mode for larger areas and Manual mode for precise, targeted treatment. A built-in skin-touch sensor ensures the device only fires when in full contact with your skin.

Compact, lightweight, and simple to use at home. Includes safety goggles, a razor for pre-treatment prep, and a 1-year warranty. Trusted by thousands of customers across the UK and Ireland who report visible results within the first few weeks of use.

How to Use

Before Your First Session

Shave the treatment area so hair is below 1mm. Do not use depilatory cream. Clean the skin thoroughly and ensure it is completely dry with no lotions, sunscreen, or oily residue. Check that the device and light window are clean and free of hair or dust.

Perform a skin test on a small area and wait 24 hours before your first full treatment.

Using the Device

Plug the power adapter into the device and a household socket. Short press the power button on the back to turn it on. Short press again to cycle through intensity levels 1 to 5. Start on level 1 if this is your first time.

Put on the protective goggles. Hold the device vertically with the light window flat against your skin. The skin-touch sensor will confirm full contact. Press the flash button to pulse.

Auto Mode covers larger areas quickly. Long press the "+" button to activate it. The device flashes continuously every 2-3 seconds while in contact with skin. To switch back to Manual mode, short press the "-" button.

After each flash, move the device to the next area of skin. Do not flash the same spot twice in one session.

Treatment Schedule

Use once a week for the first 8 weeks. After that, switch to fortnightly or monthly top-up sessions as hair growth decreases. Results are gradual - most people see noticeable reduction within 2 to 4 weeks.

After Treatment

Avoid alcohol-based cosmetics on treated areas. Do not apply hot water above 50 degrees to treated skin. Avoid vigorous exercise immediately after treatment to prevent sweating on treated areas. Apply sunscreen if the treated area will be exposed to sunlight. You can use a gentle moisturiser or aloe vera gel if the skin feels dry.

Important Safety Notes

Do not use on tattoos, moles, dark spots, or permanent makeup areas. Do not use on sunburned or wounded skin. Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Do not look directly into the light window during operation. Refer to the skin tone compatibility chart in your user manual to select the right intensity level.

LCD Screen, Auto & Manual Mode

The clear and intuitive LCD screen allows for easy monitoring of settings and flash counts during your sessions.

Switch between automatic and manual modes for precise control, making it ideal for both larger areas and targeted treatments.

999,999 Flashes

The lamp is rated for 999,999 flashes, which is enough for years of full-body sessions. There are no cartridges to replace and nothing to top up, so the price you pay is the whole cost.

Light and Handy, Five Levels

The device is light enough to hold comfortably through a full session. Five energy levels let you start on a gentle setting and move up as your skin gets used to the treatment.

Do the maths

£90 once, not a £1,000+ course

Silk Pro 2.0 is £90 once, with 999,999 flashes and both auto and manual modes for years of home use. A salon course of laser hair removal often costs £1,000 or more, appointment after appointment. Here you pay once and treat at home whenever it suits you.

Why You'll Love It

  • One Device, Years of Use

999,999 flashes means one purchase replaces years of razors, waxing appointments, and salon sessions. At a fraction of the cost of professional laser treatment.

  • Painless and Comfortable

IPL targets hair follicles with gentle pulses of light. No pulling, ripping, or hot wax. Customers consistently describe it as painless, even on sensitive areas.

  • Full Body in Under 20 Min

Auto mode delivers continuous flashes every 2-3 seconds, making it quick to cover larger areas like legs and arms. Treat your full body in a single session.

  • Built-In Safety Features

The skin-touch sensor only allows the device to flash when fully pressed against the skin. Protective goggles included in the box for complete peace of mind.

Questions, answered

Does IPL hair removal actually work at home?

Yes. IPL (intense pulsed light) targets the melanin in hair follicles, disrupting regrowth over repeated sessions. Most customers report visible reduction in hair growth within 2-4 weeks of weekly treatments. Results work best on darker hair with lighter skin tones, which is how all IPL technology works - including professional salon devices.

Is it painful to use?

The overwhelming feedback from our customers is that it is painless. You may feel a mild warm sensation during treatment, which is normal. If any level feels uncomfortable, simply lower the intensity. Start on level 1 and work up gradually.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes, women can use it on facial areas such as the upper lip, chin, jawline, and forehead. Do not use it near the eyes, eyebrows, nostrils, or inside the ears. Men should not use it on the beard area.

What skin tones and hair colours does it work on?

IPL works by targeting melanin (pigment) in the hair. It is most effective on light to medium skin tones with dark hair. It is not effective on very dark skin tones, and will not work on grey, white, red, or very light blonde hair. A skin tone and hair colour compatibility chart is included in the user manual.

How is this different from professional laser hair removal?

Professional laser uses a single concentrated wavelength, while IPL uses a broad spectrum of light. Both target the hair follicle to reduce regrowth. The main differences are cost and convenience - a course of professional laser typically costs hundreds of pounds, while a single IPL device with 999,999 flashes gives you years of treatments at home, on your own schedule.

How often should I use it?

Use it once a week for the first 8 weeks. After that, most people move to fortnightly or monthly top-up sessions as needed. Hair grows in cycles, so consistent weekly use in the first two months ensures you treat follicles at every stage of growth.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is free and tracked. Most UK orders arrive within 3 to 5 working days, and Ireland orders within 5 to 10 working days.

What is the warranty and returns policy?

Every Silk Pro 2.0 comes with a 1-year warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing. If your device develops a fault, contact our customer support team and we will arrange a replacement. We are a UK-based team - real people, not bots.
